switched it up again - this time some Slightly Stoopid with Angelo Moore from Fishbone. This is a shot from Slightly Stoopid's Flickr, taken at their Lundi Gras show in New Orleans at the House of Blues. Great damn show indeed it was!
Nice! I saw a Slightly Stoopid concert when they were up at one of the casinos here in Shreveport, Louisiana.

ive lost all respect for Jobs and Apple. i've reproduced this on every single display iphone in two apple stores in separate states how are those facts wrong?
Wow. Ever care to think that maybe the media has picked up on a wrong technical fact? Not to mention it was never mentioned what facts were wrong.
Do you people just live to work yourselves up without applying any critical thinking?

The overlay input device would obviously need to replace the laptop's keyboard, but plugging in an external keyboard would be easy enough.
Plug in... Bluetooth. Either way, interesting concept.

When ethnic minority street prostitutes in Chinese border towns can turn down 100 (10) for 30 minutes work I think they are doing pretty well - that's more than I earn for 30 minutes work. How long have you been in the business?

As noted in our forums (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=12384605&postcount=230), YouTube user machineurs has posted a pair of videos (1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-77beFICSlI), 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAXL7L9fToQ)) showing most of yesterday's Final Cut Pro X sneak peek (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/12/apple-demos-final-cut-pro-x-at-nab-2011/). The introduction took place at the Final Cut Pro User Group Network SuperMeet held in conjunction with the National Association of Broadcasters' NAB Show 2011 in Las Vegas.
While the videos are not the professionally-produced broadcasts created by Apple for its higher-profile media events, they are of fairly high quality with consistent views of the slides and action on stage and solid audio quality.
Final Cut Pro X is set to launch in June and will be available through the Mac App Store for $299. Information on new versions of the other applications in the Final Cut Studio suite will be released in the future.

I continue to be amazed by the number of students at my community college that have iPhones. These are students who for the most part are struggling to make ends meet, yet were willing to spend their limited cash that way. There are at least two or three students with iPhones in each of my classes; two years ago, I didn't see any -- and mine was a curiosity to them.
people value what they value. do you think they are getting what they paid for in terms of education? probably not.

After you pick which school you go to you can make a purchase in either Individual or Institutional store.
Yeah, but the $899 iMac is no longer available for purchase in the individual/personal EDU stores...

I remember seeing this years ago with a person holding a wii remote on their head. :D
No, the Wii Remote was actually above or below the TV. The person was holding an infrared emitter on their head.

I think I mentioned something about the politicians as well in an earlier post, where I stated that they are far worse than the illegal immigrants - I can't really see why this is a "focus on the immigrants".
It was just that opening salvo of 3 posts that came off as very discriminatory and prejudiced. Subsequent posts have been better but it doesn't change how the first few came off (when I was writing my original response).
Your discussion of politicians preceded the vitriol of "2nd class citizen, lost my country, etc" so I assumed they were distinct conversations.
I am still curious to know why you feel you are a 2nd class citizen in your own country; what makes you feel this way? That never got answered for me.

Wow, my mom got really lucky. This Saturday, my family went to the Apple Store on 5th Avenue, and my dad and I were finally able to convince my mom (a special ed. teacher) to switch to a Mac. So my dad ordered the education iMac for my mom on Sunday, and it'll ship tommorrow.
If it wasn't for the edu. iMac, my dad probably wouldv'e ordered a Mac mini, bu tthe iMac was such a better deal (my mom doesn't use bluetooth or burn DVDs).

Yeh i am kind of annoyed that Leopard nore iLife and iWork were not even mentioned at the keynote.
I have been waiting for iLife 07 to come out, so finally i can buy a macbook without having to purchase it seperately.
Hopefully i can hold off for a few months or whatever and then finally purchase it with Leopard and iLife 07.

To be honest, you have just countered your own argument, none of the 3D technology is actually true 3D, its all illusions. They both have the 3D effect just done in different ways. I'm not saying the 3DS isn't great but it only gives the effect if you look straight at it.
All I know is that this one hopefully will not give me a major headache:p that is one thing I can't seem to get over when I watch 3D on tv after say 30 or so minutes I start to get headaches (or eye strain never can be sure) so no thanks I rather have higher resolution than 3D any day. Now when do we get of this 3D and go 4K:D

Cingular officially announced today (http://cingular.mediaroom.com/index.php?s=press_releases&item=1742) its new mobile music service, deciding to partner with Microsoft, Napster, Yahoo! Music, XM Satellite Radio and eMusic for a subscription-based service model.
Many have seen this event as an essential death-sentence to the rumor that Apple would be launching the 'iPhone' as Cingular-only (http://www.macrumors.com/pages/2006/09/20060926075521.shtml) initially. However, the possibility still exists that Apple could operate as a "mobile virtual network operator" (http://www.macrumors.com/pages/2005/07/20050708134757.shtml) (MVNO) on Cingular's network.
Early this year it was discovered that Apple was seeking RF engineers with EDGE experience (http://www.macrumors.com/pages/2006/01/20060120030030.shtml) (EDGE is a relatively high-bandwidth mobile network for GSM carriers such as Cingular). Around the same time, Apple acquired a large datacenter in California (http://www.macrumors.com/pages/2006/02/20060227183355.shtml) that was originally designed for MCI WorldCom.
A release date concerning Apple's phone has notoriously been a moving target for rumor sites to pin down. The latest consensus has appeared to pin down early 2007 with an introduction perhaps at MacWorld San Francisco, however some unconfirmed rumblings from MacRumors sources have been indicating that a spring release may also be in the cards.

Thats because many, many people purchase Apple computers for the same reason they buy designer jeans or luxury cars- they want to be SEEN with it. ... And you can find most of them in public attempting to "strut their stuff".
LOL.
That probably explains the white ear buds as well.

It's possible. It's also quite possible that NF's offerings will either get very much scaled back or have a big price increase after their current content contracts expire and they have to renegotiate (and end up with terms that are much closer to what Apple and others have as opposed to their current deal which gives them a big advantage).
